Hi everyone,
What options are there to do some "logging" in update rules. For example, during update rule processing Conversion Factors for a Material are not available in the master data... it should skip that material but "log" the error somehow. I know we can add some messages in the monitor but im thinking it may be very hard to check messages in the monitor for every load. What other options are available and what are the advantages disadvantages?
Hi Emmanuel!
What important surname !!
"Nepomuceno" (born in Nepomuk)...are you a descendant of Saint John Nepomuk, Bohem's patron saint ?!
Anyway, you certainly read "How to Create monitor entries from an update routine" document...
Why don't you use the error handling in the IP, so, all error records are stored in a separated PSA ?
(otherwise you can always check your loads directly in SLG1, object RSSM and subobject MON)
Hope it helps!
Bye,
Roberto
