IRS updated the 1042S income codes for 2015

Hi Everyone,

The IRS updated the 1042S income codes for 2015 and we use processing class 74 - with the income code based on treaty exemption option. Does anyone know if SAP will be releasing a note to update these codes for 2015?

We were having the same issue and raised OSS message to SAP. Let's see if they come up with any note.

We have resolved the Income codes for 1042S, SAP has provided us the new note 2175784. In Case if you need it.

Hi Ashish,

Thank you so much for the update. Do you know if this is a pilot note that was released to just you? I cannot access it via the support portal; I get an error that says "document is not released".

Hi Jamie,

I checked it with our team and yes this is a pilot note, just released for us. I would suggest if you have already opened an OSS mesage with SAP then share this note with them and ask them if they can make it available for other customers too as they Implemented all the income codes in this note.
