Purchase requisition not released -> Workitem completed

Hi,

Overall Purchase Requisition workflow is resulted with error message in Return " Purchase requisition blocked "  and not released but workitem is completed.

I am using Business object BUS2105 Method release.  and not used any terminating event for this task.

When PR not released, work item should not get completed so that they can execute again.

Please guide me.

So the requirement here is  -

First debug the method from SWO1 to see why PR is blocked. Check with functional consultant the reason why PR is blocked and how it should be handled in Workflow.

I assume this is not a "Locking" scenario . If so check SM12 for locked entries.

If you refer to BUS2105 Method release in SWO1, you will notice that there is no "EXCEPTIONS" coded for this method. You can create a subtype of the BUS2105 and code in the exception(temporary or application) when the PR is blocked . In this way, you can stop the completion of release method in workflow when PR is blocked.

You need to make sure the PR is unlocked while you are running the Release functionality.
