Please install the high encryption PDF Manipulation service

Hi Gurus, We are trying to configure digital signature. Already SSL is enabled between ECC and Portal for the RFC ADS. The report FP_TEST_IA_01 is working fine without issues.

However I tested the report FP_PDF_TEST_12, it is giving the following error:

SYSTEM ERROR: ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.ProcessingException: GetSignatures requires a secure connection. Please install the high encryption PDF Manipulation service and enable SSL.(201,301).

SSL is enabled --> so only high encryption PDF Manipulation service needs to be enabled --> now I went to the Portal system --> here I dont see the

High encryption PDF Manipulation module

I see Low Encryption module

DO you guys have this setup at your end?. How do you enable High encryption? Java service?.

According to SAP note 752153 - Adobe: PDF Manipulation Module High Encryption , "you only need to configure the ADS SSL communication. PDF Manipulation Module High Encryption is not required."

If you really need to, the high encryption module, you must create a message in the support portal.

Hi Abdullah,

It should not be required to have the "PDF ManipulationHigh Encryption Module". It is expected that it would not exist by default and must be requested if required.

This error is usually related to incorrect ADS SSL configuration. Please review SAP Note: 752153 for more information and configuration guides,
