How to fix the setup cost same for all lotsize in op55/op52

Dear Experts,

i have one issue, kindly suggest me how to make a formula key for the set up cost, where the setup time is fixed for any lot size.

we have tried with the sap given setup formula but my calculation is not sitting correct result.

ex: for setup machine it takes 60 min, where the we produce 1 qty or 1000 qty.

when we will run CK11N , my calculation will be fixed 6 i,e 0m x 2.45(activity rate). kindly provide the solution ASAP, as this issue is very critical.

Hi venkatesh,

what i understand "in lot size in mm02 will 1000 and ca02 will be 1000 setup is 60 and the rate is kp26  rs.1. what calculation key we will take in cr01 so that in ck11n my cost is always same rs.60/- for any lot size.

Dear Shyamalendu,

In process cost / MHR  (Set up cost / Machine cost ) will be calculate based on your cycle times from the Routing as well as MHR price from the KP26 i.e. will define the activity's and cost center combination in the production work center same work center will assign in the Routing 

if you want same setup cost for all means you have to maintain the same set up time in the routing as well as KP26 price also you have to maintain the same for this cost center and activity type combination

Hi,

1.In kp26 we maintain the cost center and activity type rate month wise.

2. In MM01 costing view i have put 1000 as lot size .

3.In Ca01 i have maintain 240000 each setup is 60.

now kindly guide whether i have maintain wrong master, or we need to modify any thing or create a new formula key ,if yes then what is the formula.

Also take the cost run without costing lot size.

Hi Brahmankar,

I have gone through by taking the sap001, but the value is not coming correct.We have maintained in CA01 by 60 min, Kp26 we maintain the price . but in ck11n, when we change the lot size it changes the qty for which the price changes.

My question is we need to create a fix formula which will come fix at every point of time. Do not take the impression of "SETUP". it could be any thing.but the value should not be change witn the lot size.

Setup cost is lot size independent, are you using Fix activity price in KP26?

Create the routing for the same quantity used in the costing lot size as base quantity for routing.

In work center use standard setup formula, SAP001 -Setup time, with standard value key as SAP1 which have the setup parameter SAP_01 -Setup time. Then in routing maintain the setup time as 60 min and define the fix rate in KP26 for setup activity. Take the cost run it will calculate the cost KP26 rate multiplied by setup time from routing.
