Material MPV price change

Hello Gurus,

Is it possible to change Material’s MPV price with the split valuation is active.I tried MR21 and due to split valuation is active, it will only change the price for Standard not MPV with that valuation type.

I hope I am clear with my question.Thanks for looking over my posting.

What do you mean by MPV ?

Once a material is active for split valuation, then  you can't use this material without a valuation type.

What is the problem you are facing during MR21 or MR22 ?

Hi,

If split valuation is active, then you have to input valuation type also in MR21. Then only it allows to change.

Yea, i agree with you. I tried MR21 by putting the valuation type it will only let me change the price for Standard not MPV.

What is your price control of your material ? If your price control is S, then you need to change the 'New Statistical price' also in MR21.

Please read the KBA document 2169004 - Price change in MR21 does not update all prices on material master

Hi,

I understood your point. In my case the Business wants to change MPV price of the material with the valuation type. Now when i try MR21 by putting the material nbr it will ask me the valuation type, once i put the valuation type it will only appear S price to change only due to some config ( i think split valuation.)

The statistical price deals with the MAP for the material (with valuation type) in case of price control S.

Please try by changing the statistical price field.

I tried statistical price field is grayed out. Not able to change. only new price filed is only changeable.

Any other ideas.
