Error INVALID_WSDL while testing with SOAP UI

Hello All,

We have SOAP to Idoc interface.

While testing this scenario using third party tool SOAP UI, we are getting error: WSDLException (at /html): faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Expected element '{http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/}definitions'.

The Url which we are using in SOAP UI to post message to SAP PI has been taken from wsdl obtained after downloading it from sender agreement.

Also. recently we have upgraded PI 7.3 from SP04 to PI 7.3 SP12. Could this have any impact ?

Could any one provide some suggestion in this regard?

It should not.

Are you able to open your wsdl in web browser?

How: add ?wsdl at the end of your wsdl url and try to open.

If yes, save wsdl locally and try to generate soapui project, browsing that wsdl.

This error occurs due to wsdl version mismatch from wsdl 1.1 to wsdl 2.0.
