web intelligence report missing data but visible in export and preview

Hi,

I created a web intelligence report but it shows only partial information. For example, i have two row ids A and B. Whatever I do it displays only A. I have query filters enabled and if I select B, the report is empty and it does not say no data. If i check in data preview I can see the row for B.

I was working on my local machine with local universe. It was not connected to server.

The report had sections based on these row ids A and B, but for testing i removed all sections and left only header and footer. It still did not display B. I added a new report to the document and added the field to that report. There it works fine. I just copy pasted everything to the new tab and it works but why isn't my first report working? :S Appreciate your guidance

go to report properties there you will have option called 'Max Rows retrieved'.Just uncheck that option and then referesh report to check the output.

Hi Ritu,

This seems to be because of the corruption of the report tab.

Recreating the same tab, seems to be the only solution here.

just try to apply following solution:

Apply  =ReportFilterSummary() function.

If it returns information about any report filters then that report will contain some hidden condition.

so check it and then you will come to know whether because of some coditions you are not able to see the data in your report because with the same query but on another report you can see the data.

Report filter doesnt show any unwanted filters 😕
