Add material description field in T-code CA80

Dear SAP Experts,

I have a query. I want to add material description field in t-code ca80. Please guide me how is it possible.

Hello Muhammad,

In my analysis , I didn't find any option to add Material Description in Overview variant.

Instead you can give material description as task list description and add the field in Overview variant in transaction OPGF.

If you are using Standard variant L00000000050 then Field Task list description is maintained.

To have customized variant follow the document provided in SAP under the below node,

Production -> Routing ->General data ->Define Overview variants of where used Lists (Click on IMG activity Documentation) instead of executing it.

Please try CA85N execute it be work centers as selection and don't do mass changes.

Thanks for reply.  I have tried this t-code. By searching with work center, for one material type and other materials in result screen is as     List contains no data. But result is showing in t-code ca80.

Hello

You have materials in selection, check the green arrow in front of Materials.

Delete these materials in selection and rerun it.
