Availability Control on SAP PS does not work

Hi,

I've customized SAP PS to use availability control. But when I create purchase requests or FI Posts there is no warning or hard stop.

1) Budget Profil

2) tolerance limits

3) CJ20n: new Project with 1 PSP Element

4) CJ30: 100€ Budget on 2015

5) CJ20n: set Status

6) Create Purchase Request with valuation on PSP element and value 200€

I expect to get an error on step 6, but nothing happens.

I've checked with CJ31 that availability control is active.

In CJ20n Status of PSP element is BUDG and AVAC.

Why do I get no hard stops when I create purchase requests or FI Posts?

Problem solved:

User Status activity "availability control" was not allowed.

Can you please from CJ31 select the Analysis report from the menu:

Extras > Availability Control > Analysis

Make sure you have availability control is checked on releases or Overall.

it has no Impact. There is no warning message or hard stop.
