Dropdown list displays item value inside list

Hello,

I have used dropdown list control in adobe form.

I have bound the control with respect to item value and item text properties.

item text will be displayed to user and internally using item value after user's selection item text.

the issue is when user selecting any text form dropdown list. corresponding item value will be set automatically inside dropdown list at index 0.

I have tried "Commit selected Value" with "Exit" but yet its not resolved.

After Searching lots of post and blog I found below thing in adobe official blog Drop-Down List Control having properties "CommitOn" Having below Value

A) Select : It will take index value from the selected item and place that value on first place in selection

B) Exit : It will take index value from the selected item and only place that value on first place when you click on other control

By Default Value is "Select"

that is why my selected index value always remain in drop down list whenever I try to select other value

So I switch "Commiton" Property Value to "Exit" and somehow I got the solution but this is not at all correct way for the concern
