Solution Manager 7.1 - Enterprise Support Feature Overview


I'm searching for an overview, which features of SAP Solution Manager are available for standard support customers and which features require enterprise support. Anybody have a good overview?

For example the use of CBTA seems to require enterprise support.

What about the other functions like BPA,...?

      A general rule is that new functionality (beyond 7.0 EHP1) is only for Enterprise Customers unless stated otherwise.

      Almost everything is available inside SAP Solution Manager without any restriction ... there is no reinforcement of these rules to my knowledge which makes it difficult for customers in my opinion, I've given feedback to SAP on this on multiple occasions already.

      Technical Monitoring (Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure) has been "allowed" for Standard Support Customers as it's the successor of Central CCMS where Central CCMS will disappear soon.

      Business Process Monitoring was available in 7.0 EHP1 so it's still allowed to be used in the new 7.1 for standard support customers. Business Process Analytics didn't exist yet so in principal it wouldn't be covered.
