Hi All,
I came to know that SAP fiori appliacations are subset of SAPUI5 application.
We have created an SAPUI5 application, in eclipse Juno, and deployed on SAP server.
it can be accessed using url http://gatewayserver/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/zui5_ex02/index.html
Can we say that it is a fiori application?
I mean, what additional things, we need to do, to make it fiori
I know SAP Fiori Appliation is subset of SAPUI5 applications, but what all the things We need to do to term our SAPUI5 application as Fiori application.
or is it the case that Fiori application is developed only by SAP, and the custom SAPUI5 application can they not be called as Fiori Application.
thanks,
Madhu_1980
Hi Madhu,
Fiori term is given to standard application delivered by SAP, which follows SAP Fiori design guidelines and UX principles.
The application you built is a custom UI5 application.
Fiori design guidelines : http://experience.sap.com/news/post-155/
If you follow the guidelines and follow SAP Fiori paradigm, your application would be called as Fiori Like application

Yes, all Fiori apps follow SAP Fiori UX paradigm built using SAP Ui5 , which are coherent (follows same design principle)
Fiori follows some design pattern (like approval apps will always have same design pattern, Master -detail screen) SAPs strategy is to make Fiori an intuitive and coherent so that customers are not confused entering every fiori app.
All UI5 apps cannot be called Fiori.
