Convert a component Quantity in planned order creation

Dears,

We have a requirement where, need to convert a component Quantity depending upon the existing quantity calculated by BOM explosion in MRP.

Like if its 1.8 rounding it to 2, if 1.5 rounding it to 1.

And this should happen when MRP generates planned orders.

Confusion which exit where to put ...

Please share your wisdom.

Hello RKS,

Did you try by using Rounding value = 1 in MRP 1 view of material master?

Also you can use the Rounding Profile please refer the F1 help document and configure it as per your requirement.

RKs,

Go to Rounding profile configuration in OWD1 and creates rounding values as below and assign same profile in MRP1 view and check the results after running MRP.

If quantity 1   To 1.5 ---->1

If quantity 1.6 To 1.9----->2

HI RKS,

I dont think it is possible.but try with defining new unit and menation decimal place as ZERO.

We have like other Lot size FX. but it wont be useful.
