PR is still shown after deleting reservations in project

Hello all,

I need some clarification.....

When we decrease reserved materials in project, and run MRP with MD51, the MRP works.But when  we delete reservations in project, MRP doesn’t work effectively. We still can see the PR for the deleted reservations in MD04, and have to delete the PR manually. Is it a standard SAP behaviour.....how can this be sorted out as it is inconvenient everytime.

Hi Neha,

When you delete the activities in Project, did you check whether the PR is getting deleted or the flag is set in the PR.

There are instance, deletion flag is not set and you need to run a program to set it. OSS note is available for the same.

Thanks Maria,

I did not delete activity in the project, I just deleted the particular component line item and then run MRP again, but can still see PR for that deleted reservation.

Hi Neha,

Once you delete the component line item, did you check the PR status, whether that carries a deletion icon ? Please check in ME52N
