Role Import - deactivate Busines Process/ SBP mapping

Dear All Currently we are using position based role methodology, due to which we cant map end user roles to appropriate business process & sub process. But during role import into GRC, we need to specify the BP/SBP information which is mandatory. how can we deactivate the BP/SBP input criteria, what impact can i expect in future due to this? Kams

Hello Kamaraju,

You need to do this via Abapers as its not given as standard functionality.

However, these are attributes whcih you can utilize while building Workflows and decision tables and lot many ways to design your security approach.

Dear Kamaraju,

as already mentioned this cannot be done in standard.

In previous projects we have uploaded the roles to initial processes (e.g. IN00, IN00_001 for "Initial Role upload") as this was also not required.

From my point of view it make sense to upload the roles to a initial processes that are not used at the moment rather than removing by modification. Changing the processes at a later stage is always possible.
