Flavors not available for colleagues in Greece

Hi,

I have this strange problem. When I was France showing personas to 2 colleagues from Greece everything was working fine for them. Assigned to correct group and everything. They could use personas just as everyone else. When they later whent back to Greece and started up personas all the flavors was gone. They only have basic view. I have looked over all access rights and so on. They have the same setup as everyone else but still no more than basic view.

Anyone having any idea what might be the issue here?

Hi All,

I managed to get the Greek collegaues to see the flavors now.

Our setup is to have the end users role "RENDER_ONLY" I changed it for the greek guys to "RENDER&BASIC".

Then we could see that flavors was avaialble for the greek users. But in order to see the cosumization they have to change to basic view and then go to the flavor again. Then all developments are shown in the flavor. This they only has to do the with the first flavor that the shortlink is taking them to.

But they also had greek translation on some fileds like workcenter and asset. Do anyone know  how to get everything in english? We dont use any translations, so I think it's background SAP that is translating the fields by itself.

in your personas url, add

&sap-language=EN

it will start Personas in English.

Hi,

Please check with your Basis Team if the authorization object /PERS/AOBJ is attached to the user role with the required settings.

parameter Transactions - the transaction whose flavour they are trying to access should be mentioned.

                     Flavor - to either mention the flavour id they are trying to access or an *

No.  /PERS/AOBJ is for SAP Screen Personas 2.0 HTML and not required by SAP Screen Personas 2.0 Silverlight.

Are they still using same Personas URL and target system? Can you check if flavors are still assigned to them in admin UI?

Yes they are using the same URL and same system as everyone else. The users are assigned to same group as everyone else. The rest of the users see flavors with no problem but users from Greece dont see them.

Maybe try something like this:

Create new flavors from Greece, can you see them from France?

Hi,

The last thing at least you can check - add the persons specially for those flavors (from "Maintain flavors" menu.). Do you use only one system and just access from France or Greence, right?

I will try to assign the users to a flavor and see if that makes any difference. And we all use the same system.
