Dear Experts
I have a query in regard to LWF/PT_Tax deduction where any of the members has working days 0.
As per my knoweldge its totaly triggering from mastre data i.e. IT0588 . if its trigerred then its getting dedeucted even 0 working days & other side if its not triggered then it not dedeucted even there are working days.
So please explore as its SAP standard or from somewhere configuration part.
As its simple where member has 0 working days then hows we can recoved the LWF & PT_Tax from the member, simply it wouldn't be.

As far i know until and unless there is no absence record system considers full salary for P Tax and LWF maintain absence record and configure absence valuation part then assign respective processing class, 10 for all the wage types and maintain cumulation class accordingly it works.
Regards
Venkatesh

Hi Yadav
Thanks for respond .
V_T7INU3 & PE04- Yeah exactly this Table & Trnsaction just states that First Period & Frequency for LWF deduction state wise along with combination of PA & PSA .But its doesn't explore on LWF deduction if any of the member has 0 working days . for eg:- In Punjab LWF is deducted on monthly basis. And in any particular month XYZ member has 0 working days & IT0588 : STY0002 is triggered for that month , then is it to be deducted or not. As currently system is getting dedeucted if said infotype is maintained. So my query is - Is it standard practice to stop it by modifying the master data or can be from PCR/configuration.
Same is in case of PT_Tax for MP State .
As i have gon through these tables & T.Code PE04 and observed that it will treat acc. to defined criteria as region 19 , Frequency 1 , Period : Monthly then it will deduct the LWF for Punjab from first month on monthly basis , if payroll is run . No integration with working days.
Other Side in case PT_tax is getting calculated by considering wage type /118 & /422. where its found the PT_Tax basis is above the 1.8L for PB calculate the PT_tax . No matter even 0 working days are there.
