List selection is not selecting the value save din object in agentry

Hello All

i am having one edit transaction screen which is having two list selections. First list selection source is not having the filter but second list selection is having rule and the data is controlled by what is selected in first list selection. When i am saving this data the values are saved properly in the object. But when i open this object in edit transaction screen the second list selection is not selecting the value which i saved previously. It will always select first item in the list. I did put update rule also on this list selection but no use. I have checked the key and value all are good. Now i don't know how make the value selected which was saved previously.

Can you give some more details around what version of the Agentry client you are using, what platform you are on etc.?

Picot,

Hi. We have known fixes or issue tied to list selection on the Agentry client. Please refer to the following information if this relates to your issue.

There are two references I need you to check but the fix is in SMP 3.0 SDK SP12 PL05. You need to try if your issue is fix here.

Reference topics:

  1. 2354919 - Single Click Action is not selecting the correct value in the list
  2. 2354924 - The correct record is not selected in the list

The reference documents or article above also shows the same symptoms that you have wherein it is selecting the first item on the list instead of the current one. As stated, you will need to make sure to try the client SDK SP12 PL05 to see if you can reproduce the issue. If not then this is your official fix.

There could be a chance that the iOS version did not get merged with the fixes but the App store has SDK SP 14 released. So you may try to see if the latest version has most of the items merged. If not merged then it may be a case that can be referred to the support team as reference. In short the iOS team may need to take a look at the core code to see if the other Agentry client fix can get merged (Again - reference the doc above).

Please look for and download the latest SDK SP14 PL07. You should be testing with the latest version.

Hi Picot,

For Edit type transaction if value is saved in object field it should work. But it depends upon what you have configured in List selection as well. Also try write Rule before data entry for that Edit transaction for second field and set the value accordingly.

Thanks,

Den
