OSDB Migration for SAP PI with SLD

Hello Gurus

My client has a requirement to migrate their SAP PI 7.1 system to new hardware (Endian Change). Their SLD resides on the PI Production server

The host name will change as part of this migration

Now my question is :

• Is it advisable to migrate the SLD to the new host in advance or
• Will the Export/Import migrate the SLD as well

Can someone shed any light on the post steps or point me to any SLD post migration guide

Hi,

export/import is not equivalent with the migration.

Please check the note about the migration: 2068999 and the note 1540435 about the export/import strategy.
