BODS working environment..

Hello SAPians,

I would to hear some valuable answers regarding to the following doubts I've..

     1. How many teams will be involved in developing an ETL projects.

     2. How all local,central and profile repositories shared among them.

     3. Way of working style among each team.

I would be very happy if you people give your valuable answers with real time examples.

    1. it depends on your needs and project scope, i've been working in team where 2 developers were dealing with ETL,also was leading a team of 5 etl developers, which i this was way too much.... Quit difficult to judge without seeing your scope. But of course, this number will not be 100+

    2. Search for Scott Broadway article "Data Services code migration...", it will answer all questions on how to deal with Central and local repositories. Since Data services is shipped with lite version of SAP information Steward, you better use Data Insight instead of profiling.

    3. Artice mentioned in nr 2 answers the same. You need to have central repo and all deve;lores are sommiting the code to it and then receives when needed.
