Sub industries in cloud for sales

Hello All

In my current project we have a requirement around creating sub industries that can be assigned to accounts, in addition to the existing industry functionality.

For now we are considering creating an extension field called sub industry under the industry field in the header, and making the input in the sub industry field dependant on the value in the industry field. Thereby we should be able to report on industry as well as sub industry level.

Do you have any other good suggestions as to how this requirement may be met using standard functionality, and do you know whether SAP has a plan to add sub-industries to the standard solution in the future?

SAP is planning on supporting this functionality for the C4C SaaS application as part of a future release.

As per your requirement you need to us SDK to achieve this requirement to make dependent value based on Industry.
