Assign Partner Number at System Group level: I would like to know what is the use of this field,

Because we are already mapping the partners on Partner Config

Can anyone tell me ?

Hi,

You dont need this setting unless you are connecting GTS to a feeder system other than ECC.

In TM - Transportation Management, and potentially other systems which dont use the company code concept, you map the org unit from the feeder (TM) to the GTS FTO in this step.

So, If you are using classic ECC-GTS setup, you dont need this step. The setting is explained in SPRO but the explanation is not very user friendly.
