Issue in billing extractor

Hello All,

We have more than 400 records difference between R/3 and Bw data. 1400 records are then in r/3 for some billing types.

And in BW only 1000 records we can see. Data source is 2lis_13_vditm. from this data source data is being loaded to masterdata(Billing doc header infoobject) and in other r flow Billing dso, then Billing cube. So how to find out why this difference occurred? we can reload the data from setup..but how it missed . And the load is hourly delta.

Any inputs?

    At which day you missed those?

    if you know the day then you can cross check your whole data flow logs.

    if any failures then how they reloaded failed request?

    What steps they did, you need to analyze your data flow.

    Note the 1400 records data from ECC and analyze with help of source team.

    Whether they canceled any orders? check in functional way.Some data sources won't pull canceled data as well. note the 400 records compare with other records which we pulled into bw. you may see some difference.

    Even some times data sources won't pull data which is maintained at source thru abnormal methods.

    If we enter transactions into SAP standard method then only data sources pulls data.

    in RSA3 extractor have 1400 records but in PSA have 1000 records.

    select the data source -> right click -> manage -> select the request -> put the number of hits -999999


    now you will get all the 1400 records.

    if you are using any filters at info package level please check.

      If you haven't done it yet please check carefully the following logs

      sm13 for any update errors

      sm58 if you had any issue with the trfc

      sm21 for any issues regarding the specific date and time of the update.

      Normally those issues is because the records are deleted from the queue.
