Hi all,
I have a question related how to create ID Cards of employees (Employee Master Data) by using SAP crystal report.
So is it possible sap crystal report can be used to create and generate ID Cards of all employees?
Please anyone can help me.
Hi,
Yes possible,
1. Setup your page to be A4, select section expert and click on details, near the bottom you should see Format with multiple columns, when you click the check box, you should see an additional tab pop up at the top, (Layout).
2. If you are using any grouping be sure to check the format groups with multiple columns (near the bottom of the layout page), while in the layout section you can set the gap between details, width and control if your data goes, left right, or top down. once you get the layout correct, save the report.
3. You will want to open that same report and rename / replace fields for the back of the cards. I don't know if you plan to print front back in the same operation or not. If you plan to duplex, you may want to create two sections, one for the front, one for the back instead of two reports. Hope this gives you a good start.
Thanks,
DJ

Hi Dhananjay G
Thank you for your quick reply.
Everything you said I did it except that I'm not using grouping. So I have three data in database
for testing.
I set section expert like this, as you said
and after section expert setting the result looks like this
How to design a simple cards which composed by only ID cards, first names and last names in form of real card? like this form.
Is it possible?
Please anyone can help me.
Hi Rurangwa,
Here's what you need to do:
1) Remove the 'Format with multiple columns' option
2) Increase the 'height' of the details section
3) Insert a box of the same size as above on the details section. Right-click the box > Format > Use 'Blue' as the Fill color
4) Insert a 'text object' with the label 'ID Card: ' and position it inside the box. Drag and drop the ID Card field inside the text object label.
5) Repeat step 4 for the other fields
