send notification when shopping cart is rejected in srm sourcing

hi Experts,

we're currently implementing SAP SRM7.03 and would just like to ask if it's possible via configuration/activation of some switches so that when a purchase rejects a shopping cart in sourcing cockpit, a notification will be sent to the SC creator telling that it's rejected.

Hi Dex,

in Addition to the Event SOCO_COMPLETE I have implemented BADI BBP_ALERTING, Method BBP_EVENTS_ANALYZE of Interface IF_EX_BBP_ALERTING_BADI. Here I check if IV_OBJECT_TYPE is 'BUS2121' and if table Parameter CT_EVENTS contains an entry with EVENT = 'SOCO_COMPLETE'. If both is the case I generate an email going to the requester of the Shopping Cart.

Could you please make use of the config : ..Events and even schema for alert management .

and then Define events .. for SC buS2121 you should land up on the below screen..

If you are on a higher package its a built in functionality  of SRM 7.03 SP07 or you could downport via note

1107089 - SOCO: Complete requirement does not have any change document

  1708784 - SOCO: Change document not shown for Complete Requirement

Dex but I will suggest create a Z report to run regularly and pick up the shopping carts by referring the table BBPD_PD_INDEX_I and field ISOURCE_REL_IND and send email to all the stakeholders you want to notify.

If you are only looking for the notification, just activate this event SOCO_COMPLETE.

Please check note 1638112, which describes how you can configure the sourcing alerts.

Hi Dex,

You need to create a custom report for this notification on rejection of SC and integrate it in the backend. When Purchase rejects the shopping cart this report should be called and the shopping cart creator will be notified accordingly.
