Dear All,
Hope you are doing well.
I have a requirement that Employees should not be allowed to apply Comp Off for more that 3 consecutive days through ESS.
Suddenly the configuration of table v_t554s comes to our mind but that can be controlled if Employee is applying leave at a stretch for more than 3days. What is the solution if Employee sends leave request for 4 days in 4 individual requests??????
For eg:
04.05.2015-04.05.2015
05.05.2015-05.05.2015
06.05.2015-06.05.2015
Again
07.05.2015-07.05.2015
How to handle the scenario??
I have already developed the validation in R3 and testing found ok, but, how to handle in ESS?Same validation is dome for ESS Portal but its working partially. Because unless until the leave is not approved in ESS its not updating IT2001 and before approval you can send more than 3 consecutive leave requests.
If in R3, IT2001 is updated with 3 days leave, then only its throwing the validated error and not allowing Employee to apply for more than 3 consecutive Comp Off....
SO MY QUESTION IS...."HOW TO HANDLE IN UNAPPROVED AND REJECTED CASES IN ESS" (if no approved leave is there in IT2001)
Regards
Sujata
backend R/3 exits wont work, use PT_ABS_REQ read here http://scn.sap.com/thread/3360997 http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/Validations+for+ESS+Leave+request http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/108c31e7-b6a7-2d10-3692-c1a9f7a5c... and you can search as there are many threads on this
