Placeholder for clientside charts appears

Dear community members,

we currently get a strange result when running a DesignStudio 1.4 Application on BOE: Instead of the Charts we receive a button titled "placeholder for clientside Charts":

Does anyone know why this happens?

Is Javascript not being executed? Does BOE recognize a wrong browser Version?

Some more Background:

This happens while we are trying to execute the URL of a DesignStudio Application programmatically, i.e. we perform a Login to BOE, add the serialized session to the URL and then execute it via a WebBrowser Control.

Hi Thilo,

That button should only appear when the version of IE is 8 or less.

Could you check that browser you are using is not configured to be in IE8 compatibility mode?

Did you create your OLAP connection in the CMC?  If not please try creating the connection there and not the IDT. Not sure if it will help, but just an idea

thanks for your Input!

However, the Connection seems to be fine, as in another Client (Firefox e.g.) we receive the Chart correctly.

So there seems to be something missing when we call the Dashboard the other way.

Something that makes the BOE return not the full HTML, but just this strange button.
