Hi,
I'm novice to SAP security arena. I want to know what is the technical advantage of assigning FFID for SAP support over OSS. I have read in the previous posts that a audit log is send to the FFID owner after each support activity. The same is possible with OSS, by using filters.
Hi Arun,
The usage of each is diff., conceptually.
FF id are used by IT support team/Users of the organization, and can have specific access,. eg. Client opening/ Role Modification
OSS ids are used for external users, i.e for SAP personnel to log in. OSS ids are normally given much wider access.
But there are also scenarios, where OSS id logs in to GRC Central system, which is tagged to a FF id, on plug-in system. But then these particular FF ids also have same access as that are to be given for OSS ids. the purpose is to track it, properly.
FF ids have Workflow defined, as FF log review workflow and Login Notifications
Please share how OSS id can be tracked through workflow or for logins
Regards
Plaban
