how to modify data in COEP table

Hi Gurus,

I need to modify few field values in table COEP (controlling item document). I can't simply modify the database tables. Can anyone please advice How can I modify the data in COEP table. I was struggling to find the suitable FM or BAPI in a vain.

Please help me in resolving this.

Rewards would be obviously there.

    Hi,

    You can not update through FM or BAPI.

    The correct way is reverse the document and post correct document.

    Hi,

    COEP table gets data for all the CO transaction like , accounting posting, Allocations, settlements and through cost accounting.

    Hence modifying data base in COEP directly is not advisable, better to reverse the transactions and post again with correct value.
