Standard price not updated during production confirmation

Dear Exparts

Material 5000000991 was created as Finished goods.

During creation user didn't know the price, so that he input BDT 1.00 as STD price.

After that BOM created by PP.

Than from CO - user executed costing run and system automatically update the new STD price as BDT 128.42.

After that PP go for production and confirm it.

in FI - document posted.

We have found that COGM and Stock of FG update with price BDT 1.00, which is set during material creation.

How can we solve this issue.

Can you send the accounting view? As really surprising..if you have done PP activities that is GR after cost update then it should take 128.42..your valuation area also correct and showing 128.42...

May be user maintained 1 in plan price and in your costing variant , valuation variant strategy is defined 1st priority plan price...or can you take the period 10 view..I could not not find where you have  maintained 1 in standard price...

Hi

Change the strategy in valuation variant

  1. standard price

  2. Plan price

  3. Moving av price

  4. valuation price user exit

Then issue will be solved...in your case system picking plan price 1 in staed of standard price...

I agree with Kamal Ji. Seems the system is picking planned price1 from the material master costing 2 view. Kindly check.

We have changed the Strategy sequence as per your advice.

And run the whole process and get correct info.

Hi Tarek,

Check goods receipt done for the order, I think you have received the goods before release the price. Due to this it has picked as 1 instead of actual price.
