Portal Runtime Error

HI Exprerts,

At the call of the shopping cart in SAP NW - Portal I get the following error:

Portal Runtime Error Except in the processing of the request;

Send the ID except your Portal Administrator Exception ID 01: 57_20 / 05 / 15_0130_4527050

For more details on this exception, see the log file

Does anyone have a solution for me?

Thank you Olli

Hi Olaf,

System alias SAP_SRM is not defined in the system objects.

So you to define the system alias as per the sapnote 2030655 - Portal runtime error "System Alias is not defined or permission denied for this user"

So the message is quite clear, isn't it? The needed system alias "SAP_SRM" seems to be missing and has to be created.

Hi Olaf

As per the error message provided by you, we can infer that there can be two possibilities for the issue.

  • There is no system alias defined in your system landscape
  • The user which you are using for testing doesn't have permission to access
    the system alias.

Kindly refer to the below KBA - 2030655 - Portal runtime error "System Alias is not defined or permission denied for this user" and carry out the steps given in the resolution part of it for two of the above expected scenarios.

Hi Olaf,

how about doing what the screenshot says? Check the logfiles to find a hint about the actual problem. No one will be able to help you with the provided information.

Are you sure that this are the corresponding logs? The first one is a warining of the UWL and second one a ICM cache message. I don't think that these logs are the one for your problem. Try to refresh the log viewer right after you have caused the error. I think then you should be able to find the correct ones.

Tobias
