After creating a view set in explorer i want to publish the view set to user inbox

Hello All,

Can anyone guide me Explorer tool...

I Have created a view set in explorer,my client wants it to be publish the same view set to his inbox.

When trying to publish it is unable to show the explorer report in that folder... its only showing webi reports.

When i normally browse the folder i can see the explorer report but when trying to publish that report is not to be seen..

Do i need to give access related things to explorer???

Hi Karthik,

You will have to save the View set from Explorer application.

For viewset after clicking on the view from explorer application, click on 'save as' to save to to desired folder.

You can also get the URL for the Exploration View set from the properties panel in Explorer main menu and can send it to users via email etc.

Thanks for the reply,is there any other way apart from the one you proposed like we do for webi reports.

Basically in webi reports we schedule the report and publish it to the user inbox,in the same way i want to publish the explorer view set.

Can you guide me on this.

Hi Karthik,

As per my knowledge, this requirement cannot be achieved as personalization can be done in the Explorer App itself, so this functionality is not there in Launchpad as in Webi.
