Restricting email recipient for EWA


We have a solution containing all the systems & EWA activated. Is there an option to selectively send the EWA for specific recipient for specific system? Please advise.

    Yes, there is. There is this wiki explaining how to do it for Solution Manager 7.0: Configuring and Troubleshooting EarlyWatch Alerts E-Mail for Solution Manager 7.0 - Solution Manager - SCN Wiki.

    It should be similar in Solution Manager 7.1.

    If you only maintain the recipients in table DSMOPSOLEMAILS, you will be registering the recipient to receive all EWAs generated in that particular solutions, since this table has columns for recipients and solutions.

    For filtering specific systems for each recipient, you must activate the BADI mentioned in the wiki and, in addition to the information maintained in DSMOPSOLEMAILS, you have to maintain entries in table DSWP_SYS_EMAIL. The tables are crosschecked and the recipients information is case sensitive.
