How to set continuous public holidays quickly ?

Former Member

Hello,

When we have a few continuous holidays, for example: New years day holidays are:  from 1st Jan. to 7th Jan.

Should I create public holidays one by one like this?

From 1st Jan. to 7th Jan, create 7 fixed date holidays ???

That's too low efficiency, I think. (We have another holiday which last 2 weeks: from 1st Augest to 15 Augest every year.)

Is there any method that set continuous public holidays which are from a date to a date?

Thank you for your help!

Hello Feg,

This is how you have to create the public holiday one after other, and in holiday calendar you can have the Valid From Valid To years for these public holidays.

However, you can create the special rule in Factory calender  Valid From Valid To days as Holiday directly without creating public holidays.

Hello Feng,

As I know it is not possible to define in mass set public holidays from a date to a date.

Please refer this link, try the option of Distance to Easter

Hello Feng,,

If you want to set the public holiday for day's(ex:from 1st Jan. to 7th Jan) then you have to enter one by one date in system, and add this public holiday to your holiday calendar. If you want to add the period or day's you can use the Special rule in factory calendar as per Rupesh Suggested. This changes for one year only. every year end you can update your factory calendar for upcoming year.
It is SAP standard behavior and most of the organization consider factory calendar changes as year end activities.

I hope this  information helpful to you

Thanks & Regards
