Alert Monitor Characteristic Descriptions?

Hi,

I have just finished a DP build but I have a bunch of 'nice to have' business requirements post UAT. One was : Can the alert monitor (AMON1) have the text descriptions of the characteristics rather than just the key / code? e.g., rather than customer 00011111234, can it be: Joe Bloggs Ltd?
