Hi All,

We have SAP NW PO 7.4  and B2B Addon 1.0  installed, Now we have the configure the communication channel using AS2 Adapter. In AS2 Receiver Channel we have configured the partners URL and their details and its working fine, But in AS2 sender channel we don't have the idea about

Expected URL: ? where to create or find the AS2 URL?

We have also the followed the SAP NOTE 1828575 and configured as per the instructions.

Now we are unsure how the message will receive in the AS2 of PI

Please give us the working solutions.

Regards,

Mahendra

Hi,

The blog series I refer to is based on a SAP PO 7.4. All required information should be there.

Also, look at for more information about the URL.

Kind regards,

Hi Dimitri,

Thanks for your reply

We have configured the AS2 adapter with the SAP Note and provided the URL to the partner.

Eg: http:\\publicip:port\nwa\as2

Now we posted a test message using Partner URL and posted the message. But we encountered issue.

We are unsure how to configure the AS2 adapter (our scenario is to post the message and receive the message)

We have created the above said URL and provided to our partner.

We have configured the partner URL in our AS2 adapter (in the Recipient URL path we have given entire URL of the partner) we are not sure if this is correct ?

So what is the correct configuration we need to maintain in receiver channel column (Recipient URL)

Please advise.

Hi,

The recipient URL should be provided by your receiving partner. Did you contact them? Did you test?

What does the receiver see in their system?

Hi Dimitri,

Yes I have got their recipient URL, configured in my receiver communication channel AS2 and got the below communication channel monitoring as "channel will deliver to http://as2dev.com:port/as2"

Now my doubt is in Sender channel what will be the Expected URL and what URL should provide to the partner?

Please advise.

Hi Dimitri,

Thanks for your reply.

we have sent test message to the partner but my partner received the message as error, please refer below text.

"500 is an internal server error."

Meaning there is a mismatch with our setup.

also they should maintain MDN request type to Async?

please suggest us.

Hi Mahendra,

The PI default AS2 URL -  http://Host:port/AS2 .

The above mentioned AS2 URL of PI must be give to partner. they will send a test message use this url ,identifier id and public certificate.

Hi Mahendra

The expected URL, is working with logical partner, the partner creates the url which you have provided in his Non SAP PI AS2 server , and sends the message, these message received in your PI server.

You have to provide some valid path in your PI side and back to system.

Please share  the business scenario details we could help you further.

Thanks & regards,
