MRP link with scheduling agreement

Hi ,

I am facing difficulty for  the  MRP  ???

For  a   scheduling  agreements ,  we  will schedule in ME38 and  according to  that  we  will  do  MIGO .

for  MRP ,  according  to  details  maintain  in  MRP in master  data , i  can  run  MRP  ???

Now  my  client  requires  ,  when  he  runs  MRP  like  scheduling  he  want  to  do  GRN  .

Before  answering  to my  client i  need  the  information  b/n  the  link for  scheduling  and  MRP

Hi,

Schedule aggrement schedule lines will be considered to be availability for that schedule , if there exists any requirement over that material if that material is MRP based .

Once you receive system will treat it to be the available qty and that schedule line which is made GR will be eliminated based upon the quantity received and for requirements .

i do not think so that here is much confusion .

Your Question is little bit confusing.If i understood correctly, before MRP run scheduling you want to do GRN , Even if material is not received at site?

Kindly check the "Checking rules" and "Availability control checks" you maintained in MRP settings?

System considers the stock as per your checking rules and availability controls maintained to generate MRP P.R.

If you are maintaining  MRP types as PD-Demand based planning and VB -Reorder level Planning with different Lot sizes, system behaves differently for different MRP Types with respect to Lot size maintained in material master.

Yes you can do the GR after MRP setting in the system.
