Production supply area & production storage location.

I need to plan mass change of production storage location & production supply area for all the Boms for one plant. Current we are not using these fields in bom and data for production storage location is taken from material master & dat for production supply are is taken from workcenter. Due to wm implementation there is a need to update these fields in the bom.

Hello Kiran,

You can use CEWB to update mass production supply area in BOM also BDC or LSMW can be used.

In CEWB Load the BOM go to change mode in MRP tab you have option to update

Prod. stor. location and Prodn Supply Area

I am not getting MRP tab.

I am selecting Current working area as BOM items. I see material planning tab & nt MRP tab.

Check your work area in OP77 should have BOM item and Sub item selected.
