Table to Data Source

Hi,

we have a Z table (in R/3) that we want load data from to BW.

What steps we need to do, both in R/3 and BW, to create a datasource?. This datasource is supposed to work with deltas.

Please go through the document "How to Create Generic Delta". It gives you a step by step solution for creating a generic datasource with delta capability.

HI Mauricio

1. Create a datasource in t-code RSO2 by giving this Z table name in View/Table column and giving a proper application component. select whatever field reuired and save the datasource.

2. In the BW server, goto source system, and replicate the data source for the application component for which u have created datasource under corresponsing source system.

3. Assign proper infosource and then all the transfer/update rules.

4. Now you will be able to extract data for this datasource.
