Default hiring date should come in Date of Task IT 0019

Hi Experts,

I have 2 task types. Probation Expiry and Contract Expiry.

Once I save IT 16, then system is triggering IT 19 with default Probation expiry date, with hiring date 01.02.2014.

Once I save Probation Expiry, then Contract Expiry coming, but without hiring date in Date of Task field.

How to get default hiring date in Date of task.

Hi Shafi,

if you want community members to find the problem in your configuration, it makes the process much more efficient, if you share a screenshot of the relevant config for infotype 0016 in T588Z.

Also: you say "Hiring date" - I expect you don't expect the hiring date, but the end of contract date in this field. This is,what the standard configuration out of the box is actually doing.

To be sure: have you even captured a end of contract date (the "valid until" field that is available only, if you chose a contract type with an end like "Fixed term contract".)

If this isn't filled, then quite obviously you can't have anything populated in the task type. This is the field I mean:

If you can't see this or it's empty, pick a different contract type and fill in the field.

However: if this is what happened and you are working on a real system, I'd be very concerned, because your employer failed to give you even basic end-user training. You should ask them for that and work alongside a more experienced colleague.
