when I am opening portal i m geeting this error every time.

500   Internal Server ErrorSAP NetWeaver Application Server/Java AS

Hi,

The question is too general. Could you elaborate? The steps may be different based on the system type (dual stack, abap stack, java stack) and the DB and OS type. In general they involve configuration steps, performing backup and installing the SAP license.

Have you checked the install guide's post-install section?

NW 7.4 Install page -> Installation -> Installation SAP NW Systems -> NETWEAVER 7.1 AND HIGHER -> Select your DB and install type.

Then you will be directed the corresponding Install Guide where there is always a post-installation chapter that describe the steps.
