Locked Context within Quick Links

Hi experts,

facing the following problem with a member quick link:

i have a sales account with a quick link, which jumps to a separate input sheet for entering additional details only necessary for this account.

The problem is everytime i use the quick link the linked input sheet opens but the context is locked for all dimensions excluding TIME. Now i want to change the context to my desired settings but of course i can't. Is there a way to prevent the context from locking after jump? I faced the problem with some EPM functions but when i use the formatting sheet and lock the sheet my self made drop down lists are also locked so... i need the context, so that i can use EPMContextMember for example...

As I found out: Members within Column axis get not locked when using the quick link. Is there any special etting for this issue?

Thx for help

Best

Sebastian

Just found out what went wrong:

Context was locked on workbook Level under Options -> Context Options. But it was not locked on worksheet level. So as it seems workbook settings override worksheet settings here.

Hi,

I think this is the way it will work as per the design. You can not change context in the target, it will be inherited from the source.

Your target workbook context will freezes based on source.

Thanks,

Hi,

I think the only option is you have to manually open the context from Context Options--> Context lock--> Work book context level,  if target is not protected or protected with Edit context options.

Thanks,
