Qualified Supplier Used in RFx - Creation of Contact Person

We are using ROS in order for vendors to register. Once this is done the Buyer Approves the Qualified supplier and adds them to an RFx. The system will automatically generate a user ID and password and email it to the vendor. The system also automatically converts the "Qualified Supplier" into a bidder.

The product category information from the Registration screen is not copied to the Bidder's information. It does get copied if I create the bidder from the qualified supplier via the create bidder with reference to the qualified supplier. Is this a bug or standard system behavior?
