SAP Work Manager - No personnel id found for logged user

Hi All,

We have just deployed SAP Work Manager 6.2 and I am logging in for the first time and I am getting the below error:

No personnel id found for logged user

I understand that I can solve this issue by creating a Personnel Number in PA30 and assigning it to my SAP User ID.

But I am remember there was a way to bypass this error in case we don't want to maintain HR Personnel Numbers for every syclo user.

In the Config Panel in SAP, Under Client Globals - I changed this global to N, but that didn't help.

Can you somebody help me to know if there is a way to bypass this error without creating a Personnel Number.

Did you restart SMP server after making the global change?

Please change Mobile Application Parameter of WO.AssignmentType <> 1 to 4. Currently it is configured to use a rule that picks this from Work Order MDO - so you can change Assignment Type Filter of the Work Order to use appropriate assignment type.

Restarting the Server solved the issue. The restart is required for the server to pick the new config from the SAP Config Panel.
