Errors in CCDB Stores - Extractor CONFIGURATION (SAP J2EE ENGINE CONFIGURATION) is in error

Hi Everyone,

In the production Solution Manager system of my customer, I see below alert in the alert inbox of Technical Monitoring:-

Errors in CCDB Stores - Extractor CONFIGURATION (SAP J2EE ENGINE CONFIGURATION) is in error for Solman Java technical system with below extractor log:

"User not authorized"

If I go in managed system configuration of Solman-Java, under step 6 "Create Users" I can see the user SM_COLL_<SID> in green status existing with recommended roles.

Actually, sometime ago (a month back), we had this alert in our inbox, that time when we checked the status of this user, it showed "update needed", so we had re-executed this and this error had vanished after that. Now again we see this alert, but now the issue is not with SM_COLL user.

What could be the possible cause of this error, and how to resolve it?

Thanks.

Regards,

Nidhi

Hi Vikram,

Note 1865183 is not valid for my system.

I have checked the authorizations of the SM_COLL_<SID> user, and it already contains below roles:

J2EE_ADMIN role

RFC_AUTH role

SLD_CONFIGURATOR role

XI_RWB_SERV_USER role

Can you please let me know, which other role this user needs to have for extraction?

Thanks.

Hi Nidhi,

The CCDB Configuration issue is most likely down to the incorrect permissions assigned of the collect user SM_COLL_  <SIDodSolMan>.

Please check that this user has administrator permissions in order to perform the extraction. The step "create user" may show as green but sometimes this is incorrect.

Check the roles of the SM_COLL_<SIDodSolMan> user and manually assign the correct role.

I hope this will help.

Thanks

Vikram
