Dear Experts,
PO is raised for materials w.r.t RFQ. Buyer knows the freight charges and is entering in PO as condition type which PO allows. PO check is maintained in such a way that no of line items in PO must match the RFQ and PR. When freight or packing& forwarding charges are intimated by supplier, it can be amended in PO as condition type and it does not affect the line items. so GR and MIRO isnt affected.
When we raise PO for Services, similar condition type is added such as Engineer idle charges or maintenance charges which can be known only after the service is completed by Engineer. These additional charges can be amended in PO but issue comes only when doing SES or MIRO where these are not captured. Only when these are added as separate line items in PO , will the SES or MIRO is possible.
Kindly guide me how to solve this issue???

Dhinesh
Dear Rakesh,
I am not using freight conditions in service PO. I have to add conditions like service engineer charges for 3 days, assistant engineer charges for 2 days, maintenance charges. These will be known only when work is completed. Can these be brought as condition type in SERVICE PO or it should be added as a line item only??? while doing SES.
Why does not SAP allow unplanned services in SERVICE PO
Please clarify.
Regards
Dhinesh

Hi Dinesh,
As you will come to know these charges after completion of work only, then it is always better to add the approximate value for these services at "Limits" tab. And when you do SES you can add unplanned services with its actual value.
System allows to enter unplanned services only when you make provision for these at "Limits" tab in PO.
Regards, Rakesh
Yes its possible to get reflect the addition charges added in new line item in PO. Only need to care about
your released PO may be reset, so again need to re-release the PO, the you will be able to pass SES and miro.
So i suggest you that difine the release range for services PO in such a way i won't be reset.

Hi,
you have create a PO. in item service tab(for particular header item) you mention the maintenance charges ect...
then post the SES.
OR
enter the 2nd line item in header, for that u need post the 2 SES. 1 for main item 2. charges
for item services u mention all u need post the 1 SES
these both are possible.
or
put some amount on limits tab as unplanned and at the time of SES u directly enter the text and amount, (but reports not exactly shown the costs )

Hi,
See note 381030 Delivery charges are not supported for service PO
Don't use freight condition in service PO @ Condition tab. Treat these charges as additional service item & add it at "Services" tab.

Hi Dinesh,
The PO manual conditions will not be captured in SES. Its better you include new service line item in PO that will get captured in SES.
Plz try this in our system. Whatever condition type is maintained in your PO pricing procedure for engg charges, include that condition type in service pricing schema and then try to create PO and see if that value pass from PO to SES. I doubt but you try. Also assign SES claculation schema to PO doc type to determine pricing procedure. Check SPRO--> External service managment --> Maintain conditions for services.

Priti
