Error in SUM SP13 at phase EXTRACTION during SOLMAN SP13 upgrade from SP11 in windows

hi experts,

I am having the following issue in SUM SP13 at phase extraction during SOLMAN 7.1 SP13 upgrade from SP11 on windows.

Need your help.

  


      Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP!
   
      Last error code set: Single errors (code <= 😎 found in logfile
      'PREIMP.ELG'


      ERROR:Detected the following errors:

hi experts thanks for all your replies,

I was able to solve that issue by setting user environmental variables as well as upgrading to the latest kernal.

Hi Raja,

Can you share R3trans logs by running R3trans -d ?

Also, have you tried checking your DB is up and running ?

If R3trans returns 0000, try updating kernels DBSL and R3trans.

Refer below KBA to see if that fits in your environment.

For eg DIR_LIBRARY and dbms_type are correctly set.

If all above doesn't work, please share last 5 logs from T:\New_folder\SUM\abap\log\

Kindly run the R3trans -d command and paste the trans.log file.

Can you check if your DB is running. And output of R3trans.log file.
