0FIGL_O06 correct load

what is the correcto load between 0FIGL_O06 AND 0FIGL_C01 i have in the infopackage the option to select as a target one of them two or the two of them together

and if you have some explanation about this?

i cheked all the notes and don´t have this info.

Hi Antonio,

I just did a GL report which had infocube 0FIGL_C01 and ODS 0FIGL_O06. I had used the datasource 0FI_GL_6 initially which is delta compatible but when transporting to production server I had to delete all infocube data and use the DataSource 0FI_GL_1.

My seniors told me that 0FI_GL_1 is chosen so that we delete all data before a update and the cube has updated data always. This extraction procedure being easy and reliable, 0FI_GL_1 is preferred. I feel you can use either 0FI_GL_1 or 0FI_GL_6. You may make your BEx reports from the ODS or infocube, but 0FIGL_C01 is better.

More complications may arise if you have to use structures for collecting the GL records in the Rows panel for drill down.

i have this question? the correct infosource is not0FI_GL_6??? for those infoproviders 0figl_o06 (ods) and 0filgl_c01(infocube).

you are right, 0fi_gl_6 has replaced 0fi_gl_1,

can you check if 0figl_c01 has update rules assigned with ods 0filg_o06 or other infosource ?

you can use first option, update all data target, means both, and if new infoprovider link (have update rules from the same infosource/infopackage) will also updated.

the reason is both 0figl_o06 (ods) and 0filgl_c01(infocube) are updated from infosource 0FI_GL_4 which have the infopackage.
