Catalog upload problem..

Former Member

Hi

We are using SRM 4.0 with CCM 1.0.

Created a CSV file for supplier catalog and uploaded the file in CCM. Data has not loaded because of following errors.

Error in CSV file: row 2 ()

Error when uploading CSV file to catalog STAPLES

My catalog file is as below.

SAP CATALOG CSV 1.0

Staples;04;True

Schema;Staples

Category;ProductID;Description;BaseUnit;OrderUnit;Price;Currency

Officesupplies;SO10001;File Folders;Each;Each;5;USD

Officesupplies;SO10002;Folders;Each;Each;2;USD

What could be the problem.

Can any one give some suggestions?

Thanks

Jagdish

Hi Jagdish,

You're missing some keywords in your CSV file.

You'd better use CSV 2 file format which allows you to define more information especially on schema (this format is valid for CCM 1.0).

You'll find the format detail at <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ccm10/helpdata/en/44/f0da41e09b6324e10000000a1550b0/content.htm">CCM1.0: CSV 2 @ Help.sap.com</a>

The correction is:

SAP CATALOG CSV 2.0 <;> full;

Defaults;EN-US;

Model;

Catalog;;;STAPLES;

Schema;STAPLES;{}STAPLES;

#Categories definition

Category;Officesupplies;;;{}Office supplies;

#Content

Content

ItemValuation;;ProductID;Description;BaseUnit;OrderUnit;Price;Currency

SO10001;Officesupplies#STAPLES;SO10001;File Folders;Each;Each;5;USD

SO10002;Officesupplies#STAPLES;SO10002;Folders;Each;Each;2;USD

Hi Vadim

Thank you for your suggestion.

I have added some more category definition lines and content lines and created catalog file in CSV2.0 format as given by you and uploaded the same in supplier catalog named STAPLES.

But in the content tab I see "No schema found for catalog STAPLES" and "No items found".

Log contains green lights and one yellow (warning) for package size which says "default value used".

What could be the problem.

Thanks

Hi jagdish,

Your yellow flag is due to missiing customizing.

Check spro>Cross-application components>SAP Catalog Content Management>SAP Catalog Authoring Tool>Specify Settings for Updating Catalogs.

Ok,

This warning is not the cause of your problem. if you didn't imlplement the customizing point (see Bertrand post) the system uses default value.

You're saiing that the upload was correctly done (no red flag, no dump in the system), but when you connect to the CAT on the catalog schema tab, you get an error message: Is that correct ?

If it is the case, please post the file you've uploaded.

Regards.

Tried with that still getting same error.

It seems supplier schema is not uploaded from this catalog file.

<b>Please note we have not installed TREX</b>. Will this have any consequences. I understand TREX will be used only for search purpose. So this should not be a problem. Correct me if I am wrong.

I even tried to upload Product catalog using program BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG. This also giving error as below.

<b>Green light</b> “Start of initial transfer for catalog SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG”

<b>Red light</b> with error message “Transfer could not be carried out due to errors”

Message class BBP_CT096. Problem class 2 Important.

What could be the problem.

Thanks in advance

Bertrand

I did run /CCM/INITIALIZE_CCM

We are having CCM 1.0 with SP SAPK-10007INCCM.

Is there any fault in the load file?

What else should I check to counter this.

Please help me out on this issue.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I could able to upload the supplier catalog (Schema and content) and the log says upload is succesful with green indicator.

But still schema is not found for that loaded supplier catalog.

Which support package is recommended for CCM 1.0?

We are having SP SAPK-10007INCCM.

Can you please give some suggestions why schema is not loaded and can be done to load schema.

Thanks

Hi Jagdish,

the file as you first uploaded it

<i>SAP CATALOG CSV 2.0 <;> full;

Defaults;EN-US;

Model;

Catalog;;;{}STAPLES;

Schema;STAPLES;{}STAPLES;

#Categories definition

Category;Officesupplies;;;{}Office supplies;

Category;Janitory;;;{}Janitory;

Category;Electronics;;;{}Electronics;

#Content

Content

ItemValuation;;ProductID;Description;BaseUnit;OrderUnit;Price;Currency

SO10001;Officesupplies#STAPLES;SO10001;File Folders;Each;Each;5;USD

SO10002;Officesupplies#STAPLES;SO10002;Folders;Each;Each;2;USD

SO10003;Officesupplies#STAPLES;SO10003;Flat files;Each;Each;2;USD

SO10004;Officesupplies#STAPLES;SO10004;Stapler;Each;Each;6;USD

SO10005;Officesupplies#STAPLES;SO10005;Uniball Pen;Each;Each;3;USD

SJ10001;Janitory#STAPLES;SJ10001;Thin Tissues;Box;Box;5;USD

SJ10002;Janitory#STAPLES;SJ10002;Hand Towels;Box;Box;7;USD

SJ10003;Janitory#STAPLES;SJ10003;Bottles;Each;Each;3;USD

SC10001;Electronics#STAPLES;SC10001;Phone;Each;Each;12;USD

SC10002;Electronics#STAPLES;SC10002;Phone Cable;Each;Each;2;USD</i>

has a correct format and should work.

So here are some questions:

Are you able to create the schema manually in the web transaction ?

Did you implement any BADI in the CCM ?

Did you try to upload the file in a newly created catalog ?

Regards.

Hi Vadim

1) In the schema tab of the supplier catalog, create button is disabled. Si I cannot create schema ID for the supplier catalog.

2) I did not implement any BADI for CCM. Do I need to implement any BADI?

3) Yes, I have uploeaded the file in a newly created catalog.

Also when I tried to connect master catalog from EBP getting following message

<b>Your session has timed out - call up the catalog again in SRM</b>

TREX is not installed yet. Is this because of Trex?

URL http://<domain.com:port number>/sap/bc/bsp/ccm/sbm_cse/main.do is entered in web service call structure parameter of URL type.

Please suggest me what need to be done.

Thanks

Hi,

The URL you've mentioned is for the CSE part (Catalog search engine). This component will not be useable unless you've configured TREX.

To check the upload, you've got to connect to the CAT (€Catalog Authoring Tool).If you've added the CCM manager role to an EBP user, you'll get the CCM menu entries for the CAT. Then connect to edit catalog transaction, and get into the supplier catalog. There should find the schema you've uploaded (categories and items) .

To get this schema (categories and items) in the master catalog, you'll have to upload the file in the master catalog, and manage the maping from the supplier to the master.

Thank you for your reply.

But I am still getting the error "No schema found for catalog...." in the schema tab of supplier catalog.

Log says catalog load is succesful with green indicator.

I dont understand why schema is not loaded.

Is there anyway that schema can be loaded separartely?

Please help me out.

Hi

Can anyone please throw some inputs on this...

Hi

In Edit catalog, I observed the update column is blank against Master and supplier catalogs.

If they are loaded properly then Update column should show as OK or green indicator.

But in Log details it says load succesful with green indicator.

This could be the reason why I am not able to see schema for supplier catalog.

Please suggest me what to be done.

Thanks

hi jagdish,

Did you always work in En login language ?

if you upload a file in EN you will check it in EN.

Hi Bertrand

We uploaded file in EN and also checked in EN language.

Can you tell me after loading the catalog file, when exactly the updated status field in Edit catalog gets updated.

Thanks

Jagdish

Former Member

Hi Jagdish,

Another idea: In all your lines is the language missing. Replace all empty brackets {} with {EN-US} or to let the catalog know that the schema has to be created in this specific language version.

As an example some lines from a german supplier catalog: Catalog|KIVBF_Katalog||KIVBF_Katalog

Schema|Landkreis_Loerrach|IMAGE|DOCUMENT|Landkreis_Loerrach Category|SCHEMA|||Katalog Landkreis Lörrach

Category|24000000|SCHEMA||Büromaterial Category|24040401|24220000||Farbbänder

Hope that helps.

Hi Bodo,

Thanks for your reply.

I tried this but no success.

Can you please send me your master catalog schema file and one supplier catalog file with schema. So that I can try and see.

My email ID is nj_reddy@yahoo.com.

Also please let me know if any programs need to be run other than /CCM/INITIALIZE_CME before uploading schema or catalogs.

Thanks

On which SP is your CCM 1.0 running?

Former Member

Hi Jagdish,

That should mean your upload is not finishing properly.

Did you check ST22 for any dump?

Please also post the last lines of the log (last 20 for example)

Hi Jagdish, I have just sent you two sample files in CSV 2.0 .

Let us know if these both are working.

Hi Bodo

I tried with your CSV file and getting below error in Log

<b>Green</b> Indicator Uploading catalog WALMART

<b>Green</b> Indicator Name of file that was uploaded: C:\Project\UNSPSC\Walmart_DE.csv

<b>Green</b> Indicator 06.02.2006 09:12:40: Starting CSV import for catalog WALMART

<b>Red</b> Indicator Format of CSV file is incorrect; expected format was CATALOG,DATATYPE,COMPONENT,CHARACTERISTIC,SCHEMA,CATEGORY,CONTENT

<b>Red</b> Indicator Error when uploading CSV file (Version 2.0) to catalog WALMART.

We are having CCM 1.0 with SP SAPK-10007INCCM.

SRM_SERVER 500 with SP SAPKIBKS05.

SAP_ABA 640 with SP SAPKA64013.

Please let me know whether above service packs are OK or do we need to upgrade.

Vadim

When I upload CSV which you sent me earlier the log shows all green indicators without any errors in ST22 or SLG1(error log).

Only below 4 lines appear in the CCM web appln log.

<b>Green</b> Uploading catalog WALMART

<b>Green</b> Name of file that was uploaded: C:\Project\UNSPSC\Walmart.csv

<b>Green</b> 06.02.2006 09:17:16: Starting CSV import for catalog WALMART

<b>Green</b> 06.02.2006 15:17:18: 0001 package(s) were processed

But getting error "No default schema found".

In Log it shows

The following exception was raised:

/CCM/CX_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND

The exception occurred at the following point:

Program /CCM/CL_SCHEMA_MANAGER========CP

Include /CCM/CL_SCHEMA_MANAGER========CM01B

Line 18

I dont understand why it is not getting loaded.

Please help me to get out of this issue.

Hi Jagdish,

Once again the file I provided you is well formed. If you don't get the schema available when conecting in the CAT, that means something went wrong during the upload: You have to find what ...

If you have an MSN ID or skype, we can discuss it directly...

Onething I observed that even during product master upload to CCM I am getting the error.

When I run the report BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG in SRM to upload product catalog in CCM, it goes into error.

Log shows as below

<b>Green indicator</b> “Start of initial transfer for catalog SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG”

<b>Red Indicator</b> “Transfer could not be carried out due to errors”

In ST22 it shows Message class BBP_CT096. Problem class 2 Important.

This means that there is some problem in loading the data into CCM. Both catalog loading and using report are not working.

Can you guess where could be the problem?

Thanks

Hi Jagdish,

When I executed the report " BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG ", I am getting success messages, however, product data not transferred to Catalog.

What could be the problem?

Thanks & Regards,
